Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

We are still getting more. The boys were able to go out and play in it for awhile today, because it has warmed up into the 20's. I can't believe we have two winters in a row like this. I have never seen this much snow at one time. Anyway, I hope you are all doing well and staying warm.

This is a shot of the kids ready to head to the Nutcracker. The big boys enjoyed the whole thing. Wyatt enjoyed most of it, and Ainsley made it through about half. It was beautiful. The company had replaced all the sets and costumes this year, and they were wonderful. It was another quality show in Spokane.

We had a great time getting our Christmas Tree. It is big and full and beautiful. The best one we have ever had, and I don't say that every year. Ainsley loved the walk through the snow. She didn't even mind that it was cold, and mom was sliding all over the place. It was fun for her first Christmas tree trip.

Life has been so busy lately. I apologize for not updating sooner. Here are some pictures from the races Brandt and Mike competed in. Brandt ran really hard with me during the actual race in Seattle. We were weaving in and out passing many people. At the end of his race, he lost his shoe, went and picked it up and finished the race with one shoe. It was very heroic. Mike did wonderful. He finished in 1 hour 45 minutes, about 25 minutes faster than the last time he ran the same race. He has worked really hard. Anyway, Holden decided he would run the kids race next year, so we will have both the big boys in it. It should be fun.

Well, we have taken the plunge into dog ownership. Here are pictures of our new family addition, Tucker. He is a sweet young mutt that seems to fit into our family. We are on a trial basis right now, but I think all the boys, including Mike, have already fallen in love.

Kaylee and Wyatt were trying on their outfits for Nicci's wedding. They were precious. Ainsley was eating bread in this picture. She just had a piece of it sticking out. It was really funny.

Long awaited update

Hi everyone. Life has been busy lately. Because of that, I haven't had a chance to update this blog. Please forgive me. I will now get you all caught up on our lives. The last post included our beautiful pumpkins, and our adventures in picture taking. We have now moved through Halloween, my birthday, and a trip to Jen's. I have included a couple of pictures. We spent Halloween at Hooray Candy, a party held at the Church where the boys attend AWANA. They came home and helped hand out candy. I had a farm theme this year. The older boys were cowboys, Wyatt was a horse, and Ainsley was a pumpkin. They were very cute. The next day, I had a couple of friends over for dinner for my Birthday. It was fun. Mike got me the best cake from Cold Stone Creamery. Yum, Yum. This last weekend, we took advantage of the Veteran's day holiday and went to Salem to visit Jenny. It was great to spend time with Jen and Kaylee. Ryan was off hunting, so we didn't see him. Kaylee and Wyatt just had a great time. They were entertainment for each other.
