No pictures this time, because I was not thinking to pull my camera out. Oh well, I will give you a run down of our wonderful day. We decided to have a barbeque and invited some friends over to enjoy it with us. It was a couple who has kids at NWC with us. Brandt is good friends with one of their sons. It was so fun to just sit back and enjoy visiting. The kids had a great time playing in the back yard and playing the wii. They get a little more screen time when we have company and it is really hot out. At the end of the meal, we lit some smoke bombs, some snakes and some sparklers, all of which are illegal in Spokane county, but we can thank our friend the fireman for supplying them. After that, we decided to catch a Spokane Indians game. We had never gone as a family, and we knew they would be having fireworks, so we loaded up and headed to the field. When we were standing in line to get tickets, a nice older gentleman asked if we would like to use his box seat tickets. Of course we said yes, so we had great seats right behind the 3rd baseline dug out. It was in the shade by the time we sat down, so we were cool and comfortable. The kids all sat really well, and enjoyed the game, even though the Indians lost. It was very fun. I would recommend it to anyone. After the game, before the fireworks, some kids were visiting with some of the Vancouver players. When one of the players looked up towards us, we were surprised to see he wanted to give his wristbands to Wyatt. Mike took Wyatt down to thank him, and he also gave him a ball. Wyatt put the wristbands on, and they went half way up his arms. He wore them to bed that night. The fireworks started and they were wonderful. It was very relaxing sitting in the seats and enjoying the fireworks. Wyatt was not a fan, but he just hid his head and was very sweet. Ainsley enjoyed them as long as her ears were covered. When they ended, we drove towards town and hit downtown just as the fireworks were starting there. We pulled over and had a great view. It was beautiful. After they were done, we just drove on home. It was a fun day, and we had a great time. This is what family memories are made of.
