So the kids enjoyed the snow today. We built a very nice snowman, the snow was perfect, and the boys slid down the driveway. It definitely looked like a winter wonderland. Just check out my abominable snowgirl, Ainsley. I think the suit makes her look as wide as she is tall, but she was toasty warm. She did struggle walking a bit, but she went slow and I was willing to carry her when she needed help. It was a very fun morning.

Just a couple of shots of our boys crazy hair for crazy hair day at AWANA. They were so cute. Brandt refused to use color because he was worried it wouldn't come out. The other two didn't care, but it did wash right out that evening. It is so cute to see Wyatt be one of the big boys now that he is a cubbie.

Pumpkin Patch

We made our annual trek out to Seimer's to get our pumkins last week. It was kind of a rainy grey day, but we still had a great time picking out pumpkins. The farms pumpkins had all frozen the weekend before, so they had to haul pumpkins in from the basin. They had some huge pumpkins. Brandt's weighs 51 pounds. I will get pictures when we carve it. They did a great job finding pumpkins and we still had a lot of choices.
We are spending a few days in the house. The dreaded flu has overtaken us. Holden is currently coughing up a storm. I hope he is quickly over it. He is the first of the kids to get it, so we are on a wait and see pattern right now. Kind of hope they all get it right away so we can just get it over with. Or maybe I am praying they don't get it at all. We'll see.
Well everyone, hope you enjoy the pictures.

There they go. I must say, I had tears in my eyes when my big second grader marched himself into school today looking just a bit unsure. I am so proud of my boys. They are going to have a great year. I am getting a bit misty now realizing I will be taking my Holden in to Kindergarten this afternoon. Yesterday didn't really count since we stayed with them the whole time, but today is big. I will be leaving him and picking him up after school with Brandt. Where has the time gone. I remember not too long ago being in Jen's position, and just welcoming Holden into the world, and now I am sending him off into it. Time flies. I love you all.

It was very hot outside, and our air conditioner didn't seem to be keeping up, so we decided to enjoy the cool night air and sleep outside. It was great. The kids slept very soundly, and enjoyed their time looking at the stars. I assumed they would all be up with the sun, but they slept as late as they usually do, 7:00 am. It was such a fun family experience. We will have to remember to do it every year. When we were kids, I don't remember ever sleeping on a soft surface, so the air mattresses are a bit of an upgrade. It made it nicer for us adults at least.

I am going to slowly get some pictures up on our blog. These were all taken at Craig and Nici's house in Cheney when they had their Wood Ranch Bar B Que. I didn't get any pictures of the awesome bouncy toy they had, but the kids had so much fun. Ainsley loved the Jeep and thought she should be the one driving. She and Wyatt road around the yard a couple of times, but then mom came outside and decided that wasn't the safest idea. Ainsley tried to assist Holden with toy repair. I don't believe she was much help. Wyatt put together his own horse riding get up, and I felt he did a wonderful job. It was a great weekend, and we look forward to the annual event.
