We just finished up the AWANA Grand Prix racing series. It was a great night. Brandt and Holden both had cars racing. They were both very well painted and put together. In the Cubbies division, Holden took 4th. Brandt had some mechanical problems, so his car ended up not finishing the first run. He had a chance to retry his car in the last round, and it finished the second time, 3rd in his heat. It was a fun evening. The boys are already talking about next year.

Maui
Just a few pictures from our wonderful escape. I tell you, it was very difficult to come back to Spokane after being in paradise. If I didn't have two sweet boys waiting for me at home, I may have been tempted to stay a little longer. Well, the kids and the fact that everything over there is a bit expensive. Anyway, we had a great time. The resort was amazing. The pool was perfect for Brandt, and he, sis and I spent many hours there. Mike did work a little, but got to join us for most of the fun. The rope swing is Brandt's absolute favorite part of the resort. He must have jumped off it 50 times. We also took Brandt snorkeling. He was a natural, after we got him out there. He was a bit intimidated by the large waves he had to work his way through in order to start, but once he was out there, he would drag Mike or I out further and loved looking for the different fish. We also saw some whales while we were there. This is the time of year the whales have just given birth, and spend time training the young, so they were out there jumping through the air. It was amazing. Anyway, I will have to show you all of the pictures sometime, and tell you all the stories. Just wanted to give you a brief overview.

For those of you who couldn't be at the wedding, here are a couple of pictures. Aren't they the cutest people ever. Congratulations Nic, you were a beautiful bride. I also had to include some pictures of the some of the cutest children ever. I loved Wyatt going around telling everyone he was wearing his Princess dress. Isn't he cute. Ainsley couldn't keep her eyes off Nicci.

Today we had Ainsley dedicated to the Lord. We were sad that the grandparents weren't here to share it with us, but it really was something between us and God, so we chose to do it anyway. It is an expression of our desire to see our baby girl grow up to know God, and to have God help us in raising her. She looked precious in the dress that Mom made for me 33ish years ago. Wyatt called her a princess. Please help us by praying for her and helping to guide her when you are with her. She is precious, and God has a great plan for her life. Love you all.
